This course is aimed at those of you who wish to apply their advanced level knowledge of economics to practical and policy issues, and who have a particular interest in development issues. It is also of particular use if you want to work as a professional economist in the private or public sectors. The core modules on this course will provide you with a solid grounding in economics, while specialised modules give you the opportunity to address current theories, issues and evidence in economic policy as applied to developing countries. The specific objective is to equip you with knowledge of the techniques for economic policy analysis in developing countries as well as the ability to apply these techniques. The content of this course is influenced by the research experience and activities of staff associated with CREDIT and CPE.
