Course info
The course includes AAT Foundation Level 2. Subjects include book-keeping, computerised accounting (SAGE), and administrative aspects of accounting and numeracy. A two week work experience placement may be available. Progression is to AAT Intermediate course, Further professional accountancy qualifications or careers as Book-keeper; Accountancy Technician; Work in an accountancy environment.

How much will it cost?
Students will be eligible for fee remission on their tuitionfees if they are: aged 16–18 years old; aged 19+ and studying their first full Level 2 or 3 qualification and have not achieved a full level 2 qualification before; aged 19–24 years, hold a full Level 2 qualification and are studying for your first full Level 3 qualification; in receipt of job-seekers allowance; aged 19+ and in receipt of a means tested benefit or an unwaged dependent of such a person; aged 19+ and an Asylum Seeker who has legally been in the UK for longer than six months.

Assessment method
Assessment is by a combination of skills tests in the classroom, external examination and a portfolio of work.

Entry Requirements
At least 4 GCSEs at Grade D, including Mathematics, or a Level 1 at Merit grade.
