This subject requires a good memory as there are a lot of cases, facts and principles to remember. Students with the ability to see both sides of an argument, to analyse, use logic and reasoning to help problem solve should enjoy the course. Units covered include: Law Making and the Legal System and the Concept of Liability. Progression is to either a Law degree or other degree. Law is also a highly regarded qualification by many employers.

Assessment method
Each Unit is assessed by a 1 hour 30 minute written exam, which can be taken in January or June.

Entry Requirements
Students will require 5 GCSE passes A-C including English. An entrance paper will need to be completed in order to assess suitability for the course.
