This course further develops knowledge of the legal system and of substantive law through the criminal law and tort. Units covered include: Criminal Law and Tort and Concepts of Law. Progression is to either a Law degree or other degree. Law is also a highly regarded qualification by many employers.

Assessment method
Students will be required to do a 1 hour 30 minute exam on Unit 3 answering a one three-part question on Criminal Law (Offences against the Person). Students will also need to do a 2 hour exam answering a one two-part question based on a scenario on Tort and producing a synoptic essay on Concepts of Law. Exams can be taken in January or June.

Entry Requirements
Students will need to have achieved an AS Law qualification.
