This course aims to build on existing knowledge and experience as a means of developing those effective people skills essential for managing staff. Sessions will include listening skills; use of silence; types of questions and when to use them; the ingredients of a successful supervision; making time for oneself and their staff; use of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
