Course info
This course would be of real value to support workers, advocates, visitors, representatives, befrienders etc. Throughout the day, participants will work in pairs and small groups to identify the special risks of working alone and devise simple procedures to minimise them. Sessions will include identify potential problems; examine issues and scenarios; discuss practical suggestions for minimising risks; examine how to deal effectively with physical and verbal aggression.
