Course info
This course is intended for anyone who may be in the position of having to offer support to someone who has suffered a recent loss. Thus it would be of real value to care workers, support workers, representatives, advocates, hospital visitors, befrienders etc. Sessions will include identifying different types of loss; stages of grieving; listening skills; feelings, thoughts and behaviours; practical support.
