Course info
This course is aimed at people who have completed the basic Dealing with Dementia course and looks at how candidates can improve communication with dementia sufferers in order to help them understand their surroundings and encourage their involvement in more activities. Sessions will include how to break down some of the communication barriers; a further insight into the world of a dementia sufferer; techniques for involving them in activities; practical support.
